MASS EFFECT SPOILERS(!)
Din Korlack is the volus ambassador to the Citadel, sharing an embassy office with Calyn, the elcor ambassador. Din is markedly mistrustful of humansand questions their intentions in the galaxy. This is not an uncommon position among non-humans however, while most are at least polite to humans, Din is openly rude to Shepard, to the point of being frequently chastised by Calyn.
Din believes the Council is favouring humanity at the expense of his own people, and is annoyed that the volus have no Council seat, despite the long history his species has with the Citadel. When Shepard becomes a Spectre, Din sarcastically remarks that it is an honour for the Commander to deign to speak to him.

You’ve never been this uncooperative with us before, Ambassador.
Din Korlack: That’s because you were actually doing some good in the galaxy before!
Has that changed? How many colonies would be gone if we hadn’t taken action against the Collectors?
Din Korlack: Too many. But fighting the Alliance…
Must continue. In order to end the war.
We understand it took a lot for you to reach out to Cerberus, Ambassador Korlack. We ask that you trust us a little longer.
Din Korlack: You people are monsters!
Ambassador, please—
Din Korlack: Hundreds dead, Udina betraying the council! I should have cut ties with you ages ago!
